The team at Victoria Offices & Conference Centre have been reflecting on the past 12 months, and as the end of year 2023 is almost upon us, we are starting to plan ahead for 2024.
2023 has been an extremely busy year for us, which has been pleasantly surprising, with the economic slump still being prevalent in the country. Our Conference Rooms for Hire have been much sought after, resulting in us having to open and renovate extra rooms, in order to meet the ever-growing demand.
Similarly, our Offices to Let, have been popular – with the majority being occupied for most of the year, and our private office rental (aka Hotdesking) has also been well utilised.
Award-Winning Conference Centre & Offices to Let
We were delighted to have been nominated for the Facilities Management Awards, where we won the ‘Best Office Rentals and Conferencing Company 2023.’ It was an honour to receive this accolade from ‘Build.’
This award was unexpected, and we are extremely grateful, both for the people who nominated us, and to the Build team. Our staff are hard-working, conscientious, and dedicated to ensuring that our clients receive the best service, combined with our excellent facilities on offer.
As an extended part of our workforce, we have recently contracted ‘The Gleam Team’ to look after the cleaning of our conference rooms, offices and facilities, and they are a welcomed addition to the ‘Victoria family.’
New Conference Rooms
Due to demand, in 2023, we have opened 2 new conference rooms for hire. ‘Avalon’ (a name rooted in Arthurian legend – similar to Camelot in Cornwall) can cater for small to medium sized groups, in either a classroom or cabaret layout.
We have also temporarily opened up another room, to allow for smaller groups to hire a room for meetings etc., freeing up the larger conference rooms for those requiring a room with a larger capacity.
In 2024, we are looking to expand our Conference Centre further, by developing and providing 2 more Conference Rooms for hire – making us capable of hosting even more groups for conferences, meetings, training, assessments or similar events.
The Perfect Location
Our amazing range of facilities continue to draw in the clientele. As Victoria Offices and Conference Centre is situated in a convenient location, we are the first choice for those wishing to make use of spacious conference rooms and offices to let in Cornwall. Having the luxury of free on-site parking is always a welcomed benefit, as is having an on-site catering facility which can cater for hot and cold breakfasts/lunches when hiring our conference rooms, and also has a sit-in and takeaway option for office tenants.
With rail links and an airport nearby, our premises being a 2 min drive – just off the main A30 route through Cornwall by road, and a hotel for anyone wishing to stay overnight being just as close, there are no barriers to bringing people together from all over the UK – or even further afield!
Christmas Opening Times
For the festive holiday at the end of year 2023/start of 2024, Victoria Offices & Conference Centre will be closing on 22nd December 2023, and will be re-opened for business on 2nd January 2024.
