The team at Victoria Offices & Conference Centre in Cornwall have been reflecting on the past year and are looking forward to 2025.
Despite the economic times we are all finding ourselves in, Victoria Offices & Conference Centre are delighted to report that we have had a record year – being extremely busy on both the ‘Office Rental’ and the ‘Conference Room Hire’ sides of the business. We are thankful to all of the clients who either permanently or temporarily rent entire private offices; utilise our ‘hot-desking’ facility (Private Daily Office Rental), or take advantage of our ‘Conference Room Hire.’ Read on to learn about just a few things that have taken place in our ‘End of Year Round-up 2024.’
Our Conference Room Suites
Our five ‘Conference Rooms for Hire’ have been bustling with businesses and organisations who need a central space to hold conferences, meetings, training courses, examinations, etc., for not only local delegates, but also those from branches all over the UK, geographically. Our events team have been operating at full capacity, taking bookings; organising room layouts; preparing presentation equipment; arranging the catering, and generally ensuring that everything runs smoothly – in accordance with clients’ requirements.
5 Suites
Chenoweth is our largest suite, along with its own toilet and kitchen facilities and can be configured in a number of layouts. Lowan is our second largest suite, suitable for medium to large groups, and can again be configured in a variety of layouts. Our Victoria suite can cater for small to medium-sized groups, in a range of configurations. The Avalon suite can also accommodate small to medium-sized groups in either a classroom or cabaret layout, and lastly, the Piran Suite can hold small to medium-sized groups in a boardroom layout.
Our Offices to Let
We are happy to say that for the most part, our secure, private offices to let with flexible tenancies have been fully occupied. We have a mixture of both large and small companies/organisations on either short-term, long-term or permanent tenancies.
Our tenants have been taking advantage of our amazing facilities, including our Conference Room Hire; Superfast broadband & data packages; Communal kitchens, Toilets and showers; Bike shelters; Corporate signage; Printing & photocopying services; Individual office security; Cleaning & maintenance; Telephones; Postal service; Dog-friendly offices (especially main reception) plus, the majority of the site is wheelchair accessible, with lifts.
The private daily rental offices (hot-desking) have also been very popular, especially for those visiting the area on business and needing space to work; local people wanting occasional office space, or for those holidaying in the area and needing to escape for a day or two, to catch up on some work, or check in with their office in peace – as we are within a short drive of some of the most visited holiday destinations in Cornwall.

Private Daily Office Rental (Hotdesking) Review
“I needed to rent a private office space for the day whilst on holiday in Cornwall. The first thing I discovered was that there is not a lot of this about in Cornwall! Thankfully I found Victoria Offices via an internet search. From my initial contact with Mandy (Operations Manager) I am happy to report it was a pleasant, stress-free experience. Mandy answered all my queries promptly and met me on-site to sort out payment and take me to my office space. The rental rate for the day was amazing value for money.
The office was spacious, clean, well-ventilated with good WiFi connection. A supply of tea/coffee/biscuits and fresh milk was supplied which was much appreciated. There was a kitchen available for use which was a bonus. There is also an on-site cafe which I did not have chance to try, but it looked fine. I would highly recommend Victoria Offices and want to say thank you to Mandy for her help.”

Catering
Over the past year, most of the companies/organisations have taken advantage of our catering options when hiring our Conference Room Hire in Cornwall.
You are given tea, coffee, milk and sugar, plus cold water to keep your delegates/trainees hydrated throughout the hire period, as part of your hire agreement.
For an extra cost, we can also provide you with hot and cold breakfasts/lunches – there is a wide selection to choose from, and those with dietary needs such as gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan can also be catered for, if required. Food will be brought to your conference room at a time arranged with yourselves.
Transport Links
Getting to Victoria Offices and Conference Centre couldn’t be easier! Companies and organisations who have used our services during 2024, have found that out for themselves. Finding a venue with great transport links is very difficult – however, we have the advantage of being easily accessible by road, rail, train and air!
If you are local, or simply prefer to drive, we are just a minute or two off the A30, when exiting at the Victoria Services junction. We have ample free parking available on site. Roche Train Station is on the same road as our office and conference centre, and is simply a 3-minute walk away. If you have trainees/staff or delegates travelling from branches all over the UK, who prefer to fly, Newquay Airport is approx. a 16-minute taxi ride from us. For anyone requiring accommodation, there is a Holiday Inn Express just behind the Service Station.
Staff News
We would like to congratulate Summer (our Business Centre Co-ordinator) on the birth of her first baby, who was born on 21st November 2024. Both mother and baby are doing well.
